Disclaimer: Warranty covers replacement of the solar attic fan only if the unit fails to operate under normal conditions.
Damage resulting from storms such as wind, hail, or lightning is not covered under this warranty.

A Story From Our First Install...
When replacing these old wind turbins we discovered the roofer did not cut the tar paper, effectively rendering them useless.
How many more will we find? This one is in Silsbee, TX.

This home, shown above, struggled every summer. The A/C would run nonstop, yet the inside temperature still climbed to 77–79 degrees. Meanwhile, the attic was hitting over 150°F. With the A/C unit located in that extreme heat, it was fighting a losing battle — just trying to keep the home comfortable.
Many homes in Southeast Texas face the same problem.
With this upgrade in place, the home will stay comfortably cool because the attic will no longer trap extreme heat. By lowering attic temperatures, the A/C will finally be able to keep up without running nonstop.
And here’s something important: the tar paper around the turbine wasn’t cut at all. That means the roofer intentionally installed the vent over a solid surface without opening the proper airflow hole. Since this home is in Silsbee, I know there are many others done the same way. If the roofer had intended to vent the attic correctly, it would have been easier to simply cut the opening in the right spot.
